How do we know if we are truly saved? The Bible says; " Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you-unless you fail the test?" 2. Corinthians 13:5 So clearly God's word says to take a test to find out if Jesus Christ is in us. 2. Corinthians 5:17 says all things are new when someone are in Christ. What does it mean to be in Christ? Jesus said in John chapter 3 we need to be born again in the spirit and water to enter the kingdom of God. He also said in John 15:5 He would abide in us. So when you have a true conversion and become a believer of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you will know for sure because the change will be so radical you will no longer have any doubt. BEFORE AND AFTER You may read Ephesians 4:17 through 5:21 about the difference of the old self before Jesus accepted your request for Him to forgive your sins which can only happen by the shed blood of Jesus on the Cross as written in Hebrews 9:14,27-28. It was not hanging on the cross that took our sins away it was the blood of Jesus as sacrfice for our sins. FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT In Galatians 5:19-22 you may read about the behavior before and after salvation. There will be a change in your behavior when you truly 100 % whole heartedly give your life to Christ and let Him be Lord of your life. NOT BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO RATHER BECAUSE YOU WILL WANT TO. IF YOU DO NOT PASS THIS TEST YOU MIGHT NOT BE SAVED!!! Please I urge you make sure you make things right with God!!
