WALK THIS WAY
If you have ever wondered about
how to know which way to go
I urge you spend some time in
the book of Isaiah.
Below is a few Scripture references
to help you find out how to walk
in a way pleasing to Christ who is God!
Isa 2:3 Many peoples shall go and say,
Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh,
to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways,
and we will walk in His paths:
for out of Zion shall go forth the law,
and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.
Isa 2:5 House of Jacob, come,
and let us walk in the light of Yahweh.
Isa 8:11 For Yahweh spoke thus to me with a strong hand,
and instructed me not
to walk in the way of this people, saying,
Isa 9:2 The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light: those who lived in the land
of the shadow of death,
on them has the light shined.
Isa 26:7 The way of the just is uprightness:
you that are upright do direct the path of the just.
Isa 30:19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem;
you shall weep no more; He will surely be gracious
to you at the voice of your cry;
when He shall hear, He will answer you.
Isa 30:20 Though the Lord give you the bread
of adversity and the water of affliction,
yet shall not your teachers be hidden anymore,
but your eyes shall see your teachers;
Isa 30:21 and your ears shall hear a word behind you,
saying,
This is the way, walk you in it;
when you turn to the right hand,
and when you turn to the left.
Isa 33:15
He who walks righteously,
and speaks blamelessly;
he who despises the gain of oppressions,
who shakes his hands from taking a bribe,
who stops his ears from hearing of blood,
and shuts his eyes from looking on evil:
Isa 33:16 He shall dwell on high;
his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks;
his bread shall be given [him]; his waters shall be sure.
Isa 33:17 Your eyes shall see the king in his beauty:
they shall see a land that reaches afar.
Isa 35:8 A highway shall be there, and a way,
and it shall be called The way of holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
but is shall be for for him who
walks in the Way.
Wicked fools will not go there.
Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there,
nor shall any ravenous animal go up thereon;
they shall not be found there;
but the redeemed shall walk [there]:
Isa 35:10 and the ransomed of Yahweh shall return,
and come with singing to Zion;
and everlasting joy shall be on their heads:
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Isa 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall,
and prayed to Yahweh,
Isa 38:3 and said, Remember now,
Yahweh, I beg you,
how I have walked before you in truth
and with a perfect heart,
and have done that which is good in your sight.
Hezekiah wept sore.
Isa 38:4 Then came the word of Yahweh to Isaiah, saying,
Isa 38:5 Go, and tell Hezekiah, Thus says Yahweh,
the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer,
I have seen your tears: behold,
I will add to your days fifteen years.
(another sad story what Hezekiah did with the
fifteen extra years the Lord gave him.)
Isa 40:3 The voice of one who cries,
Prepare you in the wilderness the way of Yahweh;
make level in the desert a highway for our God
Isa 40:14 With whom took he counsel,
and who instructed him,
and taught him in the path of justice,
and taught him knowledge,
and showed to him the way of understanding?
Isa 42:5 Thus says God Yahweh, He who created the heavens,
and stretched them forth;
He who spread abroad the earth
and that which comes out of it;
He who gives breath to the people on it,
and spirit to those who walk therein:
Isa 42:16 I will bring the blind by a way
that they don`t know; in paths that
they don`t know will I lead them;
I will make darkness light before them,
and crooked places straight.
These things will I do,
and I will not forsake them.
Isa 43:16 Thus says Yahweh,
who makes a way in the sea,
and a path in the mighty waters;
Isa 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing;
now shall it spring forth; shall you not know it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert.
Isa 48:16 Come you near to Me,
hear you this; from the beginning
I have not spoken in secret;
from the time that it was,
there am I:
and now the Lord Yahweh has sent Me,
and His Spirit.
Isa 48:17 Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer,
the Holy One of Israel:
I am Yahweh your God,
who teaches you to profit,
who leads you by the way that you should go
Isa 49:8 Thus says Yahweh,
In an acceptable time have I answered you,
and in a day of salvation have I helped you;
and I will preserve you,
and give you for a covenant of the people,
to raise up the land,
to make them inherit the desolate heritage:
Isa 49:9 saying to those who are bound,
Go forth; to those who are in darkness,
Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways,
and on all bare heights shall be their pasture.
Isa 50:5 The Lord Yahweh has opened my ear,
and I was not rebellious, neither turned away backward.
Isa 50:10 Who is among you who fears Yahweh,
who obeys the voice of his servant?
He who walks in darkness, and has no light,
let him trust in the name of Yahweh,
and rely on his God.
Isa 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
and look on the earth beneath;
for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke,
and the earth shall wax old like a garment;
and those who dwell therein shall die in like manner:
but my salvation shall be forever,
and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
