21 songs just jammin’ for Jesus

as we prayerfully sought the Holy Spirit to inspire us.

Several of the songs had little or no lyrics before we started playing,

18 is here,…

Engineer Dave helped us to "Tear down the house",

as he unrehearsed is jammin’ with us on rhytmn and lead guitar.

From February 20th 2000 to March 15th 2003
 we tried on many occasions to mix this project.

In doing so we put the engineer through a huge patient test,

as when these tapes were put in the recording devices,..

we experiences numerous "mysterious" breakdowns of ADAT & DAT machines,

CD- burners, short circuit in the mixingboard, ground problems with effects.

Problems not present in the studio when mixing secular music.

The Bible says in Ephesians 6:10-20

"our struggle is not against flesh and blood".

We continually prayed.

About midnight when we were about to give up

after so many nights of trouble,...

when nothing else had worked we went back to basics.

I grabbed a handheld Shure SM 58 microphone,

and mixed the sound "live" in the control room onto a 2 track stereo DAT

while dubbing lead vocals.

When previously trying to EQ the sound we lost the vocals in the mix.

  We could never have finished it without the incredible patience

and wonderful help from engineer and dear brother in Christ

James, who in the end volunteered his time for free
to finish the recording.

We kept going 2 hours straight,

we only stopped to flip CD’s, and it worked,

Praise God !

This was recorded, as you would have experienced it "live".

It’s a raw deal !

Thank you Jeph for being a "live microphone stand"
while I ran out of the control room to cough or drink
 to keep my voice going, and for prayer support
 and spontanious clapping with James on "Jesus Saves."

It's not a top quality production.

We are fully aware of it's short comings.

Maybe one day,...we'll have more time, money

and better equipment to record on,.. ?

However still we hope you feel
the desperate urgency to share Christ
and His amazing mercy, grace and love !
